Cyber Monday Tips: How To Save Money on Shipping Costs
CyberMonday is only 2 days away! CyberMonday is the biggest online shopping day of the year! While I love shopping online, I do hate paying for shipping! There is nothing worse then finding a great deal on something, only to find out you have to pay an arm & a leg to ship it! Well you are in luck, because I’m sharing a couple ways you can save on shipping costs for your holiday gifts.
Amazon Prime: If you are ordering anything on Amazon, you’ll definitely want to take a look at their Amazon Prime program. For $79 a year you get FREE 2 Day shipping on any Amazon.com orders. I have had Amazon prime for over 3 years now and every single years it pays for itself in the amount of shipping savings. (P.S. If you are a student, you’ll get 50% off Amazon Prime)
Amazon Mom: All Amazon Mom members qualify for three months of FREE Two-Day shipping with Amazon Prime. You can extend this benefit: for every $25 you spend in the Baby Store, you earn an extra month of free Prime shipping benefits, up to a year.
ShopRunner offers 2-Day FREE Shipping from lots of partner sites like Toys R Us, Sports Authority, Radio Shack and New Egg just to name a few. You pay a one time $79 annual fee and get FREE 2 day shipping from any of those online stores. BUT, the good news is that when you sign up you get a one month FREE trial! Which means if you time it right, you could time your one month free trial right during the prime online gift buying season! Sign up for ShopRunner
RetailMeNot is a website dedicated to sharing online coupon codes. Before you purchase anything online, head over to RetailMeNot.com and pop in the url of the online shopping site to see if there are any free shipping codes available. Be careful however, not all codes will work and some have expired.
L.L. Bean is also offering FREE shipping on orders placed through their website. No minimum purchase
When all else fails….Google it! Whenever I’m about to order something online and I can’t find any Free shipping coupon codes in all my regular places, I always hit up google and do a search. For example if I was buying from Sephora, I’d google “Sephora Free Shipping Code”.
