The Grumps rock a free show at Portland Lobster Company tonight

We’ve successfully made it through another Monday, which means it is time to go full throttle into Tuesday night. Get ready to put the pedal to the metal and get down on it this evening. Here’s what’s the what all around town and beyond.

Local pop rock act, The Grumps will be doing their thing out on the Portland Lobster Company deck this Tuesday evening. These talented fellas will be serving up some satisfactory tuneage at tonight’s free, all ages show starting right around 6 o’clock.

Check out some rollicking rockabilly tonight as Ragged Jack takes to the stage of Fast Breaks in Lewiston this Tuesday. The local act will be stirring things up starting at 7 during tonight’s free show.

Fighting Fiction will be busting out some tunes and providing another free Tuesday night party for ya down at The Brunswick in Old Orchard Beach this evening. This four-piece act covers a wide variety of music from all kinds of different genres including modern pop, rock, alternative, country, classic rock and a ton more starting at 7 o’clock.

Local musician Jon Cooper and a few of his friends join musical forces tonight to bring their unique brand of Americana to life at Otto’s lower Congress Street location with their act known as Chicken Wire. Chicken Wire will be livening up your Tuesday with some toe-tapping tunes that pair well with some locally crafted beer and delicious pizza pie. Check things out as the good times get underway at 8 o’clock tonight.

If you’re up in Boothbay Harbor tonight, check out local singer-songwriter Ron Bergeron as he performs live at Mine Oyster. Ron will be serving up tons of great tunes starting at 8 o’clock, including covers of The Beatles, Stones, Queen, Elvis, The Boss, Tom Petty, Paul Simon and maybe even a little Lady Gaga.

Local folk-pop musician, Jacob McCurdy will be hosting another of his acoustic open mic night upstairs at Bull Feeney’s in Portland this Tuesday evening. Grab an instrument and get ready to play some music as things get underway right around 9.

If you’re looking to bang your head to something a bit louder this Tuesday, check out tonight’s show at Geno’s Rock Club in Portland where Stasis, Dead By Now and Zvi (featuring Ron Varod of Kayo Dot) will be turning things up to at least eleven for some skull crushing rock starting at 9pm.

An open mic designed just for DJs goes down at Flask Lounge on Spring Street in Portland tonight. The event gives up-and-coming DJs and producers the chance to get up on the decks alongside local veterans that are there to lend some helping hands and ears. All you need to bring to participate are some records, CDs and a controller. All formats of music are welcome as this free party gets started around 9 o’clock.
