All right, another Tuesday is upon us, which means it’s time to lace up those rage shoes and slide back into those Party Pants as we take this one to the limit! Lots of awesome parties happening all around tonight, so get out there and do it to it!

Flask Lounge on Spring Street in Portland will be the host for a wonderful benefit event this Tuesday evening as they welcome hip-hop artist Conman to the stage to perform some tunes in order to help raise money for Cambie Gadbois-Cates. Cambie is a little more than a year and a half old and has undergone multiple open heart surgeries to help correct issues with her aorta. These surgeries have been life changing for the little girl, but are also very expensive, therefore Conman and his crew invite you and your friends in for a night of high-energy hip-hop and dancing to help support Cambie and her family. There is a $10 suggest donation at tonight’s event and things get underway right around 5 o’clock.

Local pop rock act, The Grumps will be playing some music outside on the Portland Lobster Company deck this Tuesday. These fellas will be serving up some satisfactory tuneage at this free, all ages show starting right around 6 o’clock, so swing through and have some fun if you’re hanging around the Old Port this evening.

Local acoustic folk roots artist Zach Ovington will be performing live at Andy’s Old Port Pub on Commercial Street in the Old Port this Tuesday evening. Enjoy some of Zach’s blues-infused folk tunes as things get underway right around 7 at this free, all ages show.

Nick Poulin of Portland’s own Tall Horse will be hosting yet another open mic night at this week’s installment of The Exchange at The Thirsty Pig on Market Street in the Old Port. The Exchange is an event that is open to any and all musicians who are looking to showcase, workshop and even collaborate on their own original material in front of an audience of fellow musicians and music lovers alike. All genres, ages and musical capabilities are welcome to join in tonight’s free event, which gets underway right around 7 out on the Thirsty Pig patio.

Chances are it’s been a hot minute since you’ve seen singer, songwriter and guitarist, Eric Bettencourt around town playing his guit-fiddle and singing his head off as he’s been spending the majority of his time getting weird down in Austin, Texas. Tonight he returns to Portland for a truly intimate show at One Longfellow Square as the venue continues with its Live and Local music series. This week Bettencourt will be paired up with local folk artist Chris Ross for a full evening of songs and stories as the duo takes to the stage to swap tunes and tales starting right around 8 o’clock tonight.

Local picker Jon Cooper will be joined by a few of his musical friends for a free Tuesday night of Americana down at Otto’s lower Congress Street location. Enjoy some delicious pizza while taking in some live tunes as things get started right around 8 o’clock this evening.

If you’re up in the Lewiston area this evening you can check out singer-songwriter Ron Bergeron as he performs live at Fast Breaks. Ron will be serving up tons of great songs starting at 7 including covers of The Beatles, Stones, Queen, Elvis, The Boss, Tom Petty, Paul Simon and maybe even a little Lady Gaga.

Local musician Jacob McCurdy of folk-pop act The Dapper Gents will be hosting another edition of his acoustic open mic night upstairs at Bull Feeney’s in Portland this Tuesday evening. Grab an instrument and get ready to play as things get underway at tonight’s free open mic right around 9 o’clock.

If you’re seeking an awesome, laid back hang this Tuesday then head out to Local 188 on Congress Street in Portland to chill with the fellas of Jaw Gems. This talented experimental jazz act returns for a free night of tunes starting at 10 o’clock.
