Need to bust a move this Christmas Eve? Then head down to Slainte in Portland for a free dance party!

Merry Chrismahanukwazakah to all!  Of course it being the night before Christmas, things are particularly low key all around our little seaside state this evening. With all the festive raging that took place over this holiday weekend, I’m pretty certain mos of us are either enjoying the benefits associated with a little Hair of the Dog action somewhere or quietly dozing off beneath the glow of holiday lights.

If you are hanging around Portland tonight I know that Slainte Wine Bar & Lounge on Preble Street will be having a free dance party courtesy of Magnetic Artists. Beginning at 9, and for free, DJ Silverchild will be spinning everything from 80s alternative, funky disco, house music and more! So check it out and bust a festive move or two this evening.

I know that some places will be open this evening if you’re looking to enjoy a couple of cocktails with pals before Christmas arrives, but be sure to call ahead so you don’t get left out in the cold!

I hope each and every one of you enjoys your time with family and friends and that this holiday is filled with light, love, laughter and most importantly music!
