Milled Pavement Records presents Mike Clouds’ Apollo’s Stamina CD release party extravaganza at Flask Lounge in Portland this Friday. The record itself has been described as a division of two groups of songs: one series in danceable Trap-derived undulations, while the other half could almost be referred to as Downtempo or Trip-hop, were it not for the ever-present 32nd-note hi-hats and tongue-in-cheek Southern-fried vocal samples. Basically if you’re ready to bust a move to some sick grooves check out this show that’ll also feature special guests 32french and Moshe, and your host for the evening, Brzowski. The party starts at 9 o’clock.
