The Portland Comedy Brew HaHa makes a triumphant return to the Portland Comedy Co-Op on Spruce Street in Portland this Friday. There will be a free pre-comedy show party starting at 6 with cornhole, as well as one of Maine’s most talked about food trucks, PB&ME, who’ll be serving all the peanut buttery goodness you can take. The Rising Tide Brewery tasting room will also be open so you can wash all that tasty goodness down with some freshly tapped brews. The Bombshell Betties, a social network of lovely ladies who are enthusiasts for the nostalgia of such old school interests as hot rods, Victory rolls and rock n’ roll, will be coming together to do some good tonight as they present a benefit for tattoo safety and Parkinson’s disease at the Dover Brickhouse in Dover, NH. There will be a silent auction of artwork by various tattoo artists, jewelry, clothing, accessories and much more to raise funds for the Hepatitis C Foundation as well as The National Parkinson’s Foundation. Things get underway at 9 and will feature lively performances from rockabilly acts Whiskey Kill, The Skeleton Beats and The Outsiders.

Milled Pavement Records presents Mike Clouds’ Apollo’s Stamina CD release party extravaganza at Flask Lounge in Portland this Friday. The record itself has been described as a division of two groups of songs: one series in danceable Trap-derived undulations, while the other half could almost be referred to as Downtempo or Trip-hop, were it not for the ever-present 32nd-note hi-hats and tongue-in-cheek Southern-fried vocal samples. Basically if you’re ready to bust a move to some sick grooves check out this show that’ll also feature special guests 32french and Moshe, and your host for the evening, Brzowski. The party starts at 9 o’clock.
