It’s time to take this motha to the limit tonight as we celebrate the fact that we’ve survived another Monday. Tuesday is chock full of awesome things to see and do tonight, so hike up those Party Jorts and get down on it this evening!
Maine teenager Sarah Bernard recently passed away after a long, courageous fight against cancer and much of the Lisbon Falls community will gather together this Tuesday evening to remember her life as well as raise money for The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital at Maine Medical Center, where Sarah spent her last days. The Rail Road in Lisbon Falls will play host to this special evening that will include door prizes, a raffle, a 50-50 and a performance by Doctor Fatfinger all starting at 6 o’clock this evening. If you are in the area tonight, be sure to stop by and contribute what you can to this great cause and celebration of Sarah’s life.
The Still, which features Ryan Halliburton alongside a few recognizable local musicians, will be playing some tunes out on the Portland Lobster Company deck this Tuesday evening. Beginning at 6 take in some great live music at this free show all while you overlook the beautiful Atlantic ocean. Not too shabby for a Tuesday night hang, right? Be sure to check it out!

A bit of a Brooklyn invasion will be happening over the Meg Perry Center on Market Street in Portland as the venue welcomes a handful of acoustic acts to the stage for a show tonight. Beginning at 7 take in the sounds and stories of Las Lanas, Mixed Doubles and Orca Age alongside Portland’s own Lisa/Liza.
Fighting Fiction will be busting out some tunes and providing another free Tuesday night party for ya down at The Brunswick in Old Orchard Beach this evening. This four-piece act covers a wide variety of music from all kinds of different genres including modern pop, rock, alternative, country, classic rock and a ton more starting at 7 o’clock.
There is never a bad time to listen to The Beach Boys, but summer always seems exceptionally fitting to throw on some Pet Sounds and singalong. Tonight you can do even better by checking out The Beach Party Boys at the Seaside Pavilion in Old Orchard Beach as the act reproduces the authentic look, vocal harmony and instrumentation of the Beach Boys during tonight’s show starting at 7 o’clock.
Local musician Nick Poulin resumes his role as open mic extraordinaire as he hosts this week’s edition of The Exchange at The Thirsty Pig in the Old Port tonight. The Exchange is open to any and all musicians who are looking to showcase, workshop and even collaborate on their own original material in front of an audience of fellow musicians and music lovers. All genres, ages and musical capabilities are welcome to join in on the fun as this free shindig starts up around 7 o’clock outside on The Thirsty Pig patio.
Local artist Jon Cooper and friends join musical forces once again this Tuesday to bring their unique brand of Americana to life as Chicken Wire down at Otto’s lower Congress Street location tonight. Chicken Wire will be livening up your evening as you enjoy some cold beer (or wine), pizza, and music.
Portland’s Flask Lounge is geared up once again for another open mic that is designed specifically for DJs and producers.
