She can be found around town at local shows, performing with any variety of local acts or talking about local shows on WCSH6 on Friday mornings at 6:20 am. Karl Denson's Tiny Universe lights up the stage of Port City Music Hall tonight

I hope you showed Monday no mercy and that you’re ready to take it to the limit this Tuesday! There are a lot of great things going on all around tonight so pull up those Party Pants and make some magic happen, babies.

Local Americana four-piece Gunther Brown celebrates the release of their new album, “Good Nights For Daydreams” with two sold out shows at Blue on Congress Street in Portland this evening. For those of you with tickets to tonight’s double-feature event you can anticipate an intimate acoustic performance early on in the night at 6 o’clock, followed by full-on, plugged-in electric show at 8.

Local Sprouts on Congress Street in Portland presents a Tuesday evening filled with alternative indie acoustic jams as PD Wappler and special guest Santina King perform at this free show that gets underway right around 7 o’clock.

The Thirsty Pig in the Old Port invites one and all to its weekly open mic event known as The Exchange. Tonight’s gathering is for all musicians looking to collaborate, showcase and workshop their own original music. All ages, genres and musical abilities are welcome to join in on this evening’s fun, so be sure to stop by and check things out as the music starts right around 7.

Five-piece Ontario act, Walk Off The Earth, will be performing at The State Theatre in Portland this evening. The act grew notoriety for their 5-people-playing-one-guitar-interpretation of Gotye’s “Someday That I Used To Know”. Charlottesville pop-rockers Parachute and Brooklyn foursome Camera2 will kick things off with opening sets starting up right around 7 tonight.

Legendary saxophonist Karl Denson brings his act, Tiny Universe to Port City Music Hall in Portland for a straight up Tuesday night dance party. Denson has been getting people moving out on the dance floor for the last three decades and is ready to make Portland bust a move with the help of opening act Tauk. The party starts right around 8 o’clock tonight.

If you’re looking to chill out and take in some experimental jazz in an easy-going and intimate setting this Tuesday make your way down to Local 188 in Portland where the Jaw Gems will be doing their thing starting up at 10 o’clock tonight.
