Local folk songstress Caroline Cotter will be performing a fun and intimate acoustic set of tunes down at Blue on Congress Street in Portland this evening. Beginning at 7 o’clock you can check out a free set of songs courtesy of Caroline as she plays straight through to the 8 o’clock hour.

Flask Lounge in Portland presents another open mic night for DJs this Tuesday. Tonight’s event allows up-and-coming song spinners to take a chance and get up on the tables alongside veteran DJs. All you need to bring to participate are your records, CDs and controller. All formats of music are welcome as the fun gets starting right around 9.
