Aeterna Trio, an original, classical crossover act, will be performing as part of Frontier in Brunswick’s Live in the Lounge free music series this Wednesday evening. The trio will present a full evening of classical and modern tunes like you’ve never heard before starting at 8 o’clock.
The Frog and Turtle in Westbrook welcomes back local blues man Ron Gill for another blues-based open mic night. Ron will be joined by local musicians Ryan Halliburton and Eric Lawson for this free event that’s open to any and all artists looking to showcase their musical prowess live on stage. Flask Lounge on Spring Street in Portland presents a funky midweek dance party with another installment of Thump which features some terrific beats courtesy of local DJs Mr. Dereloid, Nocturnal, Ed Garrison and Moses. This Hump Day shindig gets swinging right around 9 o’clock.
Rap Night returns to The Asylum in Portland tonight as the event showcases some great local hip-hop with the help of hosts ill by instinct and El Shupacabra.
