Climate change and the ski industry

Ever wondered what affect climate change is having or will have on snowfall in the future? And how will those changes affect the ski industry and the fate of skiing in Maine and elsewhere?

If so, you should check out the new book “DEEP: The Story of Skiing and the Future of Snow.”

Author Porter Fox will be at USM this Friday evening March 7 at 6 p.m. to talk about the book and answer questions.

The event is sponsored by the Natural Resources Council of Maine and is free and open to the public.

An RSVP is requested, as space is limited.

Wish I could attend but I’ll be out of town… skiing. Hope you can make though.
