Spotted in the street: What up, Brooklyn!

The weather warmed up over the weekend JUST enough for me to feel my toes while I walked around town. I spotted this couple in town from Williamsburg, Brooklyn, visiting family in Scarborough. I love when a couple are completely in sync stylewise. This duo was a great citified combination and I knew right away they were from New York City. I have a radar for this sort of thing.

But then again, they blend pretty seamlessly into the Portland code of dressing. Knit caps, wool shirt jacket, workwear pants. The only dead giveaway? The Sorel boots. If they were from here, you know she’d be rocking Bean Boots.
