Spotted in the street: a little Yankee ingenuity
There’s a great phrase that is often used to describe the invention of the Bean Boot: Yankee ingenuity. It’s the word that came to mind when I spotted this Augusta native, when I noticed that a few well-placed binder clips were holding her coat together. It looks cool and it does the trick.

Also loved her winter accessories – a faux fur topper and vintage scarf.
I didn’t get a chance to ask her how old her Bean Boots were, but from the looks of it, they’ve seen lots of winters. I’m sure Leon would approve.
