A revolutionary plan for the day after Thanksgiving

No shopping.

I realize it’s insane of me to suggest this.

“But you’re the fashion and shopping blogger!”

I know, I know. But here’s a list of ten things I’d rather be doing than shopping on Black Friday.

The Better-Things-To-Do-On-Black-Friday List

1. Give yourself an at-home manicure.

2. Bake some breakfast bars and invite your friends over for coffee

3. Use these items from your kitchen to give yourself a spa day at home

4. Check out an awesome ski fashion show

5. Get a jump start on your holiday gifts by making something at home, like an infiniti scarf or pom pom socks and gloves

6. Escape the crowds and hike around Saco Beach Loop

7. Concoct a Sugar Maple and watch some holiday movies (this one is my absolute favorite)

8. Or if you feel like braving the cold and the crowds, hit up a good happy hour

9. Make this no-sew handbag from an old silk scarf at home

10. If you ignore my advice and do end up shopping, have a cup of lemon balm when you get home (helps with the stress)
