Fashion week trends you might actually wear

Menswear

The rise of suiting for women – either matching or worn as separates – is something I am desperately excited about. There’s something so elegant about a woman in tailored pieces like in the pinstripes above. Try it with either an oversized mens coat or as a matching suit for spring. I’m on the hunt for a chambray blazer and shorts that I can wear together.

Long Skirts

We’ve seen the rise (or should I say the lows) of the midi skirt. Though I admittedly love a woman that can rock a mini, the ladylike, ankle skimming length is stunning too, especially when its a voluminous skirt style. Try it with a fitted cropped sweater.

Forget stilettos! Adios heels! Ta ta for now ankle boots! The “it” shoe of fashion week was undoubtedly the sneaker in all of its forms. My closet and my ankles are thrilled about this for spring.

Wide Leg Pants

Memories of jncos are coming back to haunt me. But the wide-legged trousers from fashion week are a much sleeker take.

Bucket Hats

Put the ball caps away, boys. I want you all in bucket hats this spring.
