10 Songs in the key of dogs

There are two things in this world that I love equally. Music and my dog  Odie.

Odie and me chillaxing in East Boothbay Harbor. 2016.

Odie’s a five-year- old mutt who I pretty much live for. I awake each morning to his nudges and smooches and fall asleep each night with him somewhere near the foot of the bed, gently sighing as he heads to dreamland. It just doesn’t get any better.

And so here’s a collection of dog related songs that Odie and I have gathered.  He approved all of these.

“Everything Reminds Me Of My Dog” by Jane Siberry

“Dog Dreams” by The Story

“Hounds of Love” by Kate Bush

“Me and You and a Dog Named Boo” by Lobo

“I Told Him That My Dog Wouldn’t Run” by Patty Larkin

“Black Eyed Dog” by Nick Drake

“I Love My Dog” by Cat Stevens

“Scooby Doo Where Are You!” Theme Song

“Shake Dog Shake” by The Cure

“Diamond Dogs” by David Bowie
