Now that the elections are over, let’s turn our attention back to the important matters at hand: Portland Beer Week is still going strong. Tonight I encourage you to attend an event that is right up my alley- the Urban Beer Fashion event at The Thirsty Pig.

The event runs from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will feature models from Urban Outfitters in clothing and goods for the modern beer drinker. What can you expect to see? Well, a tie-dye beer holder belt for one. And who doesn’t need one of those? Evil Twin Hipster Ale will be served. There will also be judging at 8 p.m. where the winner of the costume contest for best-dressed hipster wins two tickets to the Tragically Hip show that night. Grab your high-waist Jordache jeans and horn-rimmed glasses and I’ll see you there!
