Seasonal Shindig & Festive Fundraiser @ The Phoenix at Sunday River

This year, all you need to do to get on Santa’s nice list is #ragewiththebear this Saturday at The Phoenix in Newry ME, right at the base of beautiful Sunday River!

Black Bear Energy & The Phoenix are teaming up to ensure bright and happy holidays throughout our local community. For every Black Bear drink special purchased (a Black Bear and Raspberry Vodka, or the “Gummy Bear”), $2 will be donated to a local charity’s holiday fund.

Shut Down Brown will provide entertainment throughout the evening, bringing you
their signature sound and funkified covers of your favorite songs. If you have specific requests, we suggest you like them on facebook and shoot them a message directly!

Our Black Bear photo booth was such a hit at the last party we’re bringing it back again, this time with extra holiday flare. Dress in your worst (or best) holiday sweater / santa get-up for a chance to win prizes that are tastier than Aunt Ruth’s fruitcake and shinier than Rudolph’s nose. For those taking part in the competition, winners will be decided after the event via facebook. Be sure to get your picture taken in the photobooth if you’d like to compete!

Also dress up to increase your chances of winning one of many swagtastic doorprizes. Those dressed in their bedazzled best will receive an extra raffle entry towards lift tickets, cases of Black Bear 500X, and other surprises! And if you REALLY want to be a winner, we’ll be selling additional raffle tickets with all proceeds benefiting a local charity’s holiday fund.
