Brett Wickard, Bull Moose
Brett Wickard came to Maine for college. Lucky for us, he decided to stick around and start a music & book store known as Bull Moose. Things have gone well and Bull Moose recently opened store No. 11 in South Portland.

How did you get here?
In 1985, I traveled to New England to visit colleges…. and came up to Maine to visit Bowdoin. I knew Maine was the place for me right away – so I decided to go to school here and never left!

Natural, thoughtful, resolute

If you had just 24 hours left in Maine, what would you do?
Be with family and friends on a hike in Baxter State Park.

Is there anything about Maine you’d change?
I love that our state has a strong “go our own way” streak --- which is awesome for most things – but at times I think we should dial it back in our communities – and encourage our towns to work together with our neighboring towns on more stuff than they currently do.
